HSR Refresher OHS Training Course (WorkSafe Victoria Approved)

The objective of the course is to refresh the knowledge and skills participants require to effectively and efficiently carry out their roles as HSRs. Although HSRs are the primary audience, managers, supervisors, health and safety committee members and anyone with an interest in health and safety may also benefit from attending this course.

Under section 67 of the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004, an elected HSR or Deputy HSR who has completed an approved initial HSR OHS Training Course is entitled to attend a WorkSafe-approved HSR Refresher OHS Training Course for each year they hold office. HSRs and Deputy HSRs are entitled to attend training on paid time and their employer must pay the course fee and any other reasonable associated costs. HSRs are entitled to choose their course in consultation with their employer.
